Victoria’s unique women’s health sector

For the past year, I’ve worked alongside the Victorian Women’s Health Sector Network to evaluate the sector’s collective impact in advancing women’s health and equality as a key part of the state’s public health infrastructure. It was an absolute privilege to help unpack some of the most significant contributions of this sector in advancing gender equality, preventing violence against women, driving reforms in sexual and reproductive health and mental health and wellbeing, the reducing the gendered impacts of climate change and the COVID-19 pandemic.

The resulting report – Small change, big impact – describes the unique role of this network in driving health promotion over four decades in Victoria.

The report and a summary can be found on the Women’s Health Sector Network website.
