Claire Varley is a writer and consultant in the community and not-for-profit sector.
Her debut novel The Bit in Between was published by Pan Macmillan in 2015 and her second novel, The Book of Ordinary People, will be released mid-2018.
Her fiction and non-fiction work has appeared in many places, including Going Down Swinging, Overland, The Big Issue, Kill Your Darlings and a number of collections.
Claire provides a range of consulting services to the community and not-for-profit sector. She has worked in the gender equity and prevention of violence against women sectors, and has coordinated community development projects in Australia and overseas, including remote Solomon Islands and with refugee and asylum seekers in Melbourne’s outer north.
